Minecraft: Slimes and a Creeper

Guess what biome I live in. Yes. Guess what I have to listen to.

Every. Single. Niiiiiight.

It's all the worse when they spawn in the water. I even have a large chest devoted strictly to slime drops because I'm killing them off constantly! Built a fence around my home to keep them out...

However, Slimes are great for leveling up quickly.
